Cennox plc recently promoted the download of a FREE game for mobile phones at two of Queens Park Rangers FC home games on behalf of Santander. Football Fans received a message via Bluetooth containing the QPR FC home team together with a link to the mobile game and broadcast these messages for approximately one hour before kick-off. Feed-back from supporters was great with fans finding this a fun and imaginative way to obtain the team news and also interact with the clubs key sponsors. A total of 25% of the support at each game interacted with the campaign – and QPR FC won both games comfortably!
